Hugo Chavez-Rey
Vice Chairman and Interim Chair
vicechairman@denvergop.org

Hugo is a lifelong conservative and a proud immigrant from Peru. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran, and a dedicated conservative within the Republican Party in Texas and Colorado. His journey—from arriving in America to serving in uniform—has shaped his deep commitment to the values of liberty, personal responsibility, and the American Dream.

Throughout his decades of involvement in the GOP at the local, state, and national levels, he has worked on campaigns, built grassroots movements, served in various capacities in the GOP, and fought to uphold the principles that make this country exceptional.

He carries that mission forward today as the host of The Hispanic Patriot podcast—a platform dedicated to informing, engaging, and empowering Hispanic voters with honest, no-nonsense political commentary and interviews.

As a veteran, immigrant, and patriot, I believe in the power of civic engagement and the importance of preserving our constitutional values for the next generation.
